Hassum Ceesay (1944-2010)  The Writers' Association of The Gambia
regrets to announce the death of Mr Hassum Ceesay (Sr). He passed away last
Wednesday (19th May 2010) and was laid to rest on Thursday (20th May). He was
one of the co-founders of Ndaanan, a literary magazine, first published in The
Gambia, in March 1971. The link has been provided by Cherno Omar Barry.
