Two Gambian Poets nominated for DUBAI The Interim Executive Committee of the Writers' Association of The Gambia, during an executive meeting presided over by Mrs Ralphina da Almeida, nominated two poets to attend the Dubai International Poetry Conference in Dubai scheduled to take place in March 2010. These two poets are Ms Mathilda Johnson and Justice Almami Fanding Taal. The selection has not been confirmed yet but these poets will represent the Writers' Association of The Gambia for several days in DUBAI. More information will follow. |
